Dear All,

We have updated the Participation Rules of Food Recognition Benchmark 2022.

You will have to re-accept the rules of the competition before you can make any further submissions or take part in the competition. You can do so by clicking on the Participate button on the challenge page.

The updated challenge rules can be found here : https://www.aicrowd.com/challenges/food-recognition-benchmark-2022/challenge_rules

And a summary of the changes are as follows :

  • We have now categorically clarified that the dataset used in this challenge has been contributed by the MyFoodRepo project, and is released under the CC BY 4.0 License.
  • We have now clarified that the submissions made to this competition can be used to analyze new data points submitted to the MyFoodRepo project, and the generated predictions can be released as a part of the future releases of the MyFoodRepo dataset.
  • We have now elaborated more on the open-sourcing clause of the prize eligibility, where we have categorically specified that the eligible open-source licenses are the open source licenses approved by the Open Source Foundation.
  • We have extended the in-eligibility clause for claiming prizes from, previously, just Organizers (SeeRave Foundation) to Organizer Admins, which includes AIcrowd and any companies or organizations which are involved in the administration, sponsorship or execution of this Challenge.
