πŸš€ Round 2 is live!

:rocket: Round 2 is live!

This is the final Round of the challenge and the Top 3 winners will lay claim to the $25,000 cash prize :moneybag::moneybag:

There is one major change in Round 2

  • In this round we are computing a Weighted F1-Score and Weighted accuracy across classes.
  • Classes 5 and 6 have 20x more weight than the rest of the classes now.
  • You can check out the scoring function here.

Round 2 is open to all, and participation in Round 1 is not necessary.

The new test data and sample submission format are available on the Resources tab with β€˜_2’ appended to the name of the files.

If you are just getting started or are looking to get ahead, do checkout some of these amazing Community Contributions that are sure to give you a leg up  (and don’t forget to contribute back to the community!)

We recently hosted a virtual challenge Townhall and had wide ranging discussions on the problem from both the challenge organisers and the top participants. Check it out here:

See you on the leaderboard!

Cheers

Thank you for the great news!
Could you please advise on the change of scoring? Will weighted or unweighted metric be used for final scoring?
By looking at submissions, I can see that the current Round 2 leaderboard is assembled using the unweighted F1 (I could see this by clicking β€˜view’ next to a few submissions). Weighted F1 and accuracy are also computed, but not used for the leaderboard.

Hi @ae1,

Thanks for pointing that out. That is indeed a mistake at our end. We are updating the leaderboard to use the weighted scores, and the final prizes will be decided using the weighted scores on the whole test set.

The current leaderboard will be fixed asap !

Thanks,
Mohanty

@mohanty thanks a lot for the clarification!

Hello @ae1
