I have been able to get Super Mario and 2048 working without issue, but it seems that setting up pokemon and SC2 is significantly less trivial. How do we set up those games to work locally?
- Which software do we need to download (and specific links to that software)?
- How do we set up the files within the starter-kit directory?
For example, I think I have Pokemon setup correctly but I’m getting warning messages about “[WARN] Map module not found: …orak-2025-starter-kit\evaluation_utils\mcp_game_servers\pokemon_red\game\processed_map\PalletTown.py”
I also have no idea how to setup SC2 on Windows, as all of the downloads are for Linux.
A lot of the setup is rather opaque, so a significantly more comprehensive explanation for how to set up these games is absolutely needed to actually get competitors to submit code. Any help is greatly appreciated.
