Hello everyone,

We are excited to announce Round 4 of the Food Recognition Challenge! :tada:

Food Recognition Challenge is a long-running benchmark AIcrowd is proud to host. The previous round took the benchmark a notch higher and with this round, we are confident that the competition will be even more rigorous!

:bulb: What’s new in Round 4

We have increased the number of images in the dataset for Round 4. And announced new prizes for average precision scores. Read on to find out more.

:date: Timeline

Round 4 will run for 45 days. :running_man:‍♂

  • Starts January 15, 2021
  • Ends March 1, 2021

:trophy: Prizes

  • Top 4 teams on top of the leaderboard to receive a minimum score of 0.520 at the end will all receive Oculus Quest 2 as a prize
  • On top of this, the 1st team that reaches 0.62 AP will receive a cash prize of 5,000 CHF.
  • And, the 1st team that reaches 0.70 AP will receive a cash prize of 10,000 CHF!
  • Travel Grant to AMLD 2021
