Unfortunately, internet explorer is not fully supported. However, one workaround is to download the installer locally on your machine and copy it to the VM. In case you want to install chrome, you need to download the standalone version of the chrome installer (Google Chrome - The Fast & Secure Web Browser Built to be Yours)
