Deepracer's Car Point of View video

Hi Everyone,

We’re releasing a video collected from the stereo cameras onboard the Deepracer car. This is to assist you with the sim2real transfer and debug your models. Since many participants score high on the simulator but go out of the track at the first turn or earlier.

We think this is a combination of general sim2real transfer issues like sensor noise, high neural net inference time, and non-robust agents that do not generalize well to the real-world track. Though there may be other issues that we encourage you to look for using this manually collected video.

The preprocessing on the video frames is simply a downscaling and grayscale conversion.
