Hi Organziers,
Meta has introudced Llama 3 and is avalible at huggingface. I am wondering if we can use it for the competition. The Llama 3 - 8B model might be a good choice.

It would be nice if the organizers could clarify their position on this matter. The rules say “This KDD Cup requires participants to use Llama models to build their RAG solution. Specially, participants can use or fine-tune the following 4 Llama 2 models”, and this is particularly ambiguous, notably we don’t know if the “specially” refers to a suggestion or an obligation.
