About "NearbySmelt" action

May I ask several questions about “NearbySmelt” action?

  • Will the action be done in 1 step? In the game, smelting iron ore takes a while.
  • What is the fuel used in smelting? In the game, players can choose which fuel to use. But it seems not possible in minerl.

Hi kaixin - yes this is a slight boon to the agents. NearbySmelt uses Malmo’s smelting helper which automatically selects the fuel for smelting, consumes it, and in one time-step returns the products in the agent’s inventory.
