I’m a little confused about the dates. I saw here that data for sending the submissions is until June 5, is that it?
(Other thing, the “Create Submission” button doesn’t appear to me, did I do something wrong or is it like this for everyone?)
We are currently testing the submission system and will soon allow everyone to submit runs (that’s when the submission button should appear). Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 CLEF conference will we held as an online event only. While restructuring the conference schedule, some deadlines got extended, including submission deadlines for the labs. But: We don’t have a final schedule yet and I can’t tell for sure what the exact submission deadline will be. I will keep you posted.
Please let me know if you have any issues keeping the deadlines, we might be able to extend - for now, we will keep everything as planned and will decide what to do moving forward.

The current submission round lasts from:
2020-04-20 12:00 UTC until 2020-05-01 12:00 UTC
As mentioned above - we might be able to extend that deadline, for now, please consider the current timeline as final schedule.

Is there any update regarding the deadline for submissions? Any chance it will be aligned with the other LifeCLEF deadlines on June 5th?

We have not officially extended the deadline, but I am confident that this will happen this week. I will keep you posted. In the meantime: Let me know if you have any difficulties with the challenge. I’d be more than happy to schedule a digital meet-in where participants and organizers can chat.
