Phase 1 nomination interface and the Aug 17 write-up — where do they live?

Two mechanics questions about the extended Phase 1, and one small documentation discrepancy.

1. The two-submission nomination. The 4 Aug email says each team may nominate up to two submissions for the Phase 1 private re-evaluation, defaulting to the top two on the public leaderboard if none are chosen. Where does that selection interface appear, and when does it open and close relative to the 10 August 23:59 UTC submission deadline? I’d rather not discover it on the last evening.

2. The algorithmic-contribution write-up is due 17 August. Is it submitted through the AIcrowd site, emailed, or posted here? And is it tied to a specific nominated submission, or does it stand on its own?

3. Minor discrepancy worth fixing. The challenge page correctly shows “PHASE 1: LIVE / PHASE 2: UPCOMING”, but the Official Rules timetable still lists “Phase 2 Start — August 1, 2026, 00:00 UTC” and “Phase 1 Submission End — July 31, 2026, 23:59 UTC”. Read literally, that timetable says both phases are open right now, which contradicts both the site and the extension email. Might be worth a note in the rules or a pinned correction.

Thanks!

Hi,

Thanks for flagging these.

The details for selecting your Phase 1 submissions, including where to make the selection and how the process works, are covered in our latest post here:

For the Algorithmic Contribution write-up , you can either email it to arc-whestbench@aicrowd.com or post it on Discourse. Please make sure to include the submission number the write-up relates to so we can associate it correctly.

Thanks!
