It appears that the PET scan shows hypermetabolism in both the primary tumor and lymph nodes, but the GTV that we are predicting for is just for the primary tumor (not the lymph nodes)? Just wanted to make sure. Thanks.
Yes. PET would have strong signals for both GTVt(tumor) and GTVn(lymph nodes). It would also highlight if there is any kind of inflamations or strong metabolism activities(e.g. brain activities).
